DDBcovWebThis book can spark discussion about your family’s past and anyone who was a part of World War II. Most families have a living or past ancestor – grandfather, great-grandfather, great-uncle, or cousin – who was a part of WWII. Perhaps your family will want to find a WWII veteran to visit with. You may know one, or can find one in a nursing home or a veteran’s hospital. Your child could read this book to them and tell them “thank you”. Honoring these veterans is a hope of Steve & Chris’, as well as teaching our children.

Our children need to learn about the “greatest generation” so they can pass on the honor, history, and importance of what was accomplished for the sake of freedom. Perhaps the children of today will read this book to their grandchildren, telling them of a veteran they met when they were young.
